Jason Miller Commits To East Georgia State Baseball

Congrats to Jason Miller (Class of 2020), has committed to play baseball at East Georgia State College in Swainsboro. Miller was recruited as a shortstop for the Bobcats, who compete in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) conference of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). He plans to study marketing.

According to Riverwood Baseball Head Coach Trey Henson, "Jason is a great addition to the East Georgia program. He is extremely athletic and a plus defender. Jason is a great young man and East Georgia is getting a gem in Jason Miller."

Miller has been a member of the Raider varsity baseball team since 10th grade, after playing on the JV squad as a freshman.  He was designated 6-AAAAA Second Team All-Region as a junior. Miller plays summer/travel baseball for East Cobb Astros Baseball.  His brother, Jalen (Class of 2015), also played baseball at Riverwood, and was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the third round of the Major League Baseball draft in 2015. Jason is the son of Danny and Kim Miller of Atlanta.
